Author and researcher Curtis Dahlin is a
native of South Dakota where he grew up on Sisseton-Wahpeton Indian
Reservation. A 1964 graduate of South Dakota State University with a major
in history, he has collected and studied antique photographs for 30 years,
and In 2001 he and a group of fellow collectors published Joel E.
Whitney, Minnesota's Leading Pioneer Photographer.
The author traveled 38,000 miles and
spent 5500 hours researching his latest book, Dakota Uprising Victims:
Gravestone and Stories, published by
Beaver's Pond Press.
He lives in Roseville, Minnesota. |
